PowerPoint Presentation
Is an electronic slide show that allows you to present and deliver your message by using slides.
Normal view
Is a view of the presentation that allows you to add and delete slides, and add text and elements to slides.
Zoom slider
Zoom slider adjusts the zoom percentage of the window.
Transition
Transition refers to the way each new slide appears on the screen.
Animation
An animation is an effect you can apply to text, objects, or pictures to make those objects move during a slide show.
Slides tab
The Slides tab displays your slides as small pictures or thumbnails.
Thumbnails
Are display as small pictures.
Outline tab
The Outline tab displays all the text on your slides in outline.
Live Preview
The Live Preview features lets you see the effects the theme will have on your slides before you apply it in your presentation.
Slide pane
The slide plane is the workbench for PowerPoint presentations.
Layout
The slide layout is how objects are placed on a slide.
Notes Page view
The notes page view displays your slides on the top portion of the page with any speaker notes that have been etered for each slide appearing in the Notes pane.
Notes pane
The notes Pane are located at the bottom of the page.
Slide Sorter view
Slide Sorter view displays thumbnails of the slides on the screen so that you can move and arrange slides easily by clicking and dragging.
Slide Show view
In Slide Show view, you run your presentatino on the computer as if it were a slide projector to preview how it will look to your audience
Reading view
In Reading view, you run your presentation very much like Slide Show.
Handsout
You can print all the slides in the presentation, you can print handsout that contain small pictures or thumbnails of your slides, along with an area for taking notes.
