What is the difference between the Nernst potential and the Donnan potential?
The Nernst potential is created when the first ionic component can pass through the membrane while the second can not.

The Donnan potential is created when the first ionic component can pass through the membrande AND the second aswell BUT only in the reverse direction.
Diffusion potential?
Both positive and negative ions can cross the membrane but one tends to do so faster due to greater mobility.
What conditions determine the existance of the diffusion potential?
-Conc. difference
-Difference in ion mobility
What equation best describes the membrane potential?
The Goldman equation.
What type of leads are classical Eindhoven leads?
Bipolar
What type of leads are chest leads?
Unipolar
