What is pot equity?
Pot equity is the percentage of the pot that is yours based on the percentage chance that you will win the hand. For instance if you have pocket AAs pre-flop 10 handed and everyone stays all the way to the river your percentage chance of winning is 31 %, so your pot equity is 31%. If the pot has 100 dollars then you could expect to win 31 dollars per hand on average over a large number of hands.
What are pot odds?
They are the ratio of the pot size to the size of the bet you will make. For instance if the pot is 100 dollars and you are going to call a 10 dollar bet then the pot odds are 10:1.
What are implied odds?
They are the ratio of the future pot size to your contributions to the current and future pot. For instance if the pot size is $100 and and you have to call for $10 and in the next round you will call a single bet of 20 dollars then the implied odds are 100+20:10+20 or 120:30 or 4:1. You are risking $30 for $120.
What are reverse implied odds?
Where the odds get worse than the pot odds because your current made hand might not hold up.
