The sequence of events in a story
External Conflict
A character’s struggle with another character or an opposing force such as nature, the laws of society, etc.
Point of View
The perspective from which the story is told; who is telling the story; usually said to be either a first person or third person narrator
Third Person Narriation
The story is told from the point of view of an outside narrator
Rising Action
The events that occur after the conflict is introduced; these events lead up to the climax
Resolution
The part of the plot where the conflict comes to an end, when all loose ends are tied up, and the story is brought to an end
