STI screen and treat empirically for chlamydia with azithromycin 1g If woman positive for gonorrhea or trichomonas, treat partner |

Why would you admit someone with PID to hospital? |
-Acute abdomen -tubo-ovarian abcess -nausea, vomiting, fever, systemic symptoms
-pregnant -not compliant or tolerating therapy -failure of therapy |
