What is sight reading?
Sight reading is playing a piece of music that you have never seen, heard or played before, strictly from sight.
What is practicing?
Practicing is the ordered process of perfecting a piece through the body's muscle memory.
What is muscle memory?
Muscle memory is the long-term memory learned from repetition of a particular motion, giving one the ability to perform this motion without consciously thinking about it.
What is the most effective and efficient way to practice?
Choose a small section of music.
Play the section over and over until perfect.
