Define the term exercise response and exercise adaption

Exercise response, its a physical quick response when doing exercise for example running; exercise response would be hart rate and blood pressure increase (short term change). Exercise adaption is a chronic change to body due to repeated exposer to certain types of exercise. For example running 5kms 3 times a week would slowly improve muscle endurance.

What is the aim of the negative feedback system in a biological system?

negative feedback system aims to maintain bodies homeostatic. For example lactic acid ....(needs to be added to i think)

Name the three negative feedback systems active during exercise

Hormonal, Intrinsic, neural

Which of these pathways is mainly responsible for the increase in exercise heart rate?

Hormonal, Intrinsic, neural

increase in heart rate is primarily due to hormonal feedback (with a bit of neural at the start)

What does PWC170 identify?

physical work capacity at 170bpm (beats per minute) at a fixed heart rate of 170

How does heart rate response (i.e pattern) to equal jumps in exercise intensity

heart rate is essentially a linear line response up until approximately 90% of maximum heart rate
