Mass
Mass is the amount of matter in an object.
Mass is measured in Kilograms The more mass an object has, the greater its inertia, and it will take more force to change the state of motion. |
Inertia
Inertia is the resistance of an object to change it's motion in any way.
The way that an object moves at a constant rate in a straight line, or if it stays still. |
Volume
The amount of space that matter (something, or a thing) occupies. (Volume is a measure of space)
So, the soda in a bottle or can has a specific volume based on how big or how small the bottle or can is. Volume is measured in units such as Cubic Centimeters. |
Weight
The force of gravity on an object.
Example: The gravitational PULL down to Earth is what causes us to have a weight. |
1 kilogram (kg) =
10N which also is equal to 2.2 pounds (lb)
Therefore: 1kg = 10N = 2.2lb |
(Lb), (LB), (lb)
is used to refer to pounds.
