What is fremitus?
|
tactile vibrations transmitted through the bronchopulmonary tree to chest wall when pt. speaks. More solid areas=more vibrations

What is the significance of a high diaphram?
|
large space between diaphram at inspiration and expiration= pleural effusion. High diaphram=atelectasis, or diaphragmatic paralysis

If it helps to look through a small hole to focus on something, it is a functional problem (lense can't accomodate etc) if it doesn't help its a structural problem
