Chloroplast |
A part of plant cell that contains chlorophyll. |
Aerobic respiration |
Is respiring with oxygen and it takes place in the mitochondria of a cell. |
Chlorophyll |
A green substance that absorbs light energy. |
Respiration |
Is a series of chemical reactions that releases energy by breaking down large food molecules. It takes please in all living organisms. |
Anaerobic respiration |
Is respiring without/ with very little oxygen. It takes place in the cytoplasm of a cell. |
Enzymes |
Are catalysts that speed up chemical reactions either by breaking down large food molecules or joining small molecules together. |
Organelles |
Are part of an animal or plat cells (e.g. nucleus, chloroplast ...) |

How to take a transect? |
1. Run a tape measure between 2 fixed points. 2. Start at one end of the transect and collect the data we want. 3. Move along the transect and collect the data again. 4. Keep collecting data and moving until reach the end of the transect. |
