Describe the nature of the Dharmas

(Avatamsaka Sutra)

The nature of the Dharmas is perfect. It does not have two different aspects. All the various Dharmas are fundamentally still. They are without name and form, cut off from all things. This is understood by enlightened wisdom, and not by any other sphere. The one is in the many, the many are within the one. The one is many, many are One.

Describe The Diamond Sutra

All appearance is delusion. If you view all appearance as non appearance, Then that view is your true nature. Do not become attached to any thoughts that arise in the mind. If you

see and search out the absolute than you are practicing the wrong path and cannot see your true self. All compounded things are like a dream, Thus should you view them.

The Lotus Sutra

All phenomena, from their very origin. Always have the aspect of stillness and extinction. When the disciple of the Buddha walks this path, he will become a Buddha in future lives.

The Eightfold Path is divided into three divisions...

Prajna: Wisdom (the three marks of existence)

Shila: Morality (moral commandments)

Samadhi: 4th state of consciousness (Buddha Nature)

The three divisions of the Eightfold Path are then divided into 8 subdivisions...

Under the division of Prajna there is

Right views and Right Intentions

Under the division of Shila there is

Right speech, Right action, Right livlihood, and Right effort

Under the division of Samadhi there is

Right Mindfulness, and Right contemplation

Buddha Nature is Samadhi. Luminous is this mind, brightly shining, but it is colored by attachments that visit it. This unlearned people do not really understand, and so do not cultivate the mind. Luminous is this mind, brightly shining. And it is free from attachments that visit it. This the noble follower of the Way really understands, for them their is cultivation of the mind.

The cycle of Suffering is divided into three divisions which are

Future Life. Current Life. Past Life

The cycle of suffering is divided into three divisions, these three divisions are then divided into 12 subdivisions.

Under the division of Future life there is

Decay and Dying which depends on birth, and Rebirth which depends on becoming

Under the division of current life there is

becoming, grasping, craving, feeling, contact, sensation, organism, consciousness (depends on Karmic disposition).

Under the division of past life there is

Karmic disposition and ignorance

Karmic disposition depends on ignorance and ignorance depends on the source (Avidya).

The dhammapada (words of dharma, the words of Buddha).

Mindfulness, truth, beauty, goodness, unity
