What receptors do phenothiazines block?
D1-like, D2-like, alpha-1, H1 (Only causes sedation. No drowsiness because it does not cross the blood brain barrier), and M receptors.
What effects do phenothiazines have at the CNS?
Emotional quieting, sedation, decrease spontaneous motor activity, lower threshold to seizures, hypothermia, antiemetic.
