Glaucoma drugs
To treat glaucoma. Its a miotic (缩瞳)drug ( it causes the pupils to constrict of get smaller). miotics were the 1st drugs to be developed to treat glaucoma, but they are used less often now.
Timolol ophthalmic ( Timoptic )
To treat glaucoma
It is a beta blocker that is available as an eye drop. It decreases the production of aqueous humor to decrease the intraocular pressure.
Latanoprost ( Xalatan )
To Treat Glaucoma.

It is a special type of glaucoma drug known as a prostaglandin F agonist drug(前列腺素F激动剂药物). It increases the outflow of aqueous humor in the eye, which decreases intraocular pressure. the suffix "-- oprost" is common to the generic name os prostaglandin F agonist drugs.
amoxicillin (Amoxil )

This is a penicillin antibiotic. It is given orally in the form of a tablet or syrup. It is the first line treatment for non-severe otitis media.

To treat bacterial infections of the middle ear ( otitis media )

This is an augmented penicillin. It is given orally in the form of a tablet or syrup. It is the 1st line treatment for severe otitis media. The drug clavulanate is added in orded to counteract resistant bacteria.

To treat bacterial infections and inflammation of the ear. This drug contains two antibiotics to treat infection, plus a corticosteroid to reduce inflammation. It is given topically in the form of ear drops.
acetic acid (otic) (Vosol ) antibiotic
to treat infections in the external ear ( otitis externa )

this drug is meant to treat otitis externa (ie. swimmer's ear). It will not work in the treatment of middle ear infections (otitis media )
benzocaine ( otocain )
To relieve pain caused by ear infection or injury.

This drug will not cure an ear infection, but it will help to relieve pain and discomfort.
triethanolamine polypeptide oleate ( Cerumenex )
Miscellaneous ( wax-dissolving )
To soften, loosen , and remove excessive earwax. (ie. cerumen 耳屎 ).
