Rational numbers

Rational numbers are made by dividing one integer by another integer.They can be expressed as fractions or as decimals.


3 divided by 4 makes the rational number 3/4 or 0.75.

Imaginary numbers are numbers that,when squared,give a negative result.

Complex numbers are combinations of real and imaginary numbers,written in the form a+bi where a is the real number and b is the imaginary number.an example of a complex number is 4+2i. When adding complex numbers, add the real and imaginary numbers separately:(4+2i) + (3+ i)=7+3i.
