Anxiety in social relationships, accompanied by eccentricities characterized by superstition, the supernatural, magic, or rituals.
Schizotypal
Persistent pattern of victimizing others. Lack of empathy. Blame victims for being foolish, weak, naive, helpless. Feel arrogantly superior to victims.
Antisocial Personality Disorder
Persistent instability in social relationships, self-image, and emotions. Fear abandonment and rejection. Extremely sensitive to social environment. Unmet need for affection and personal closeness. Often history of abuse or neglect.
Borderline Personality Disorder
Excessive emotionality and attention-seeking behavior. Center of attention. Flirtatious, dramatic, enthusiastic.
Histrionic Personality Disorder
Obsession with grandiosity, intense need for admiration, lack of empathy. Concerned with dominance hierarchies. Pretentious, boastful, superior. Hiding hidden fragility in self-esteem: fatal flaw.
Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Social anxiety, low self-esteem, hypersensitivity to criticism. Fear rejection. Avoid interpersonal contact. Believe themselves to be inadequate, flawed, unacceptable. Isolated and lonely.
Avoidant Personality Disorder
Excessive need to be taken care of, associated with submissive, clinging behavior, and fear of independence. Passive and indecisive. Self-sacrificing and vulnerable to exploitation. Decisions made by dominate individual or group.
Dependent Personality Disorder
Persistent preoccupation with order, perfection, attention to detail, rules, and control. Sacrifice efficiency to do things according to established principles and rules. Ritualistic, inflexible, serious.
Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder
Feel worthless, indecisive. Altered sleeping patterns, changes in appetite, weight loss/gain, loss of energy. Major depressive episodes, but no manic or hypomanic episodes.
Major Depressive Disorder
Extreme pleasure in every activity, extraordinarily hyperactive, grandiose plans. Require little sleep. Flight of ideas. ~3-6 months.
Manic Episodes
Extreme pleasure in every activity, extraordinarily hyperactive, grandiose plans. Require little sleep. Flight of ideas. Does not impair functioning.
Hypomanic Episodes
Alternating between manic and depressive episodes.
