Tensor fascia latae
tuber coxae and the adjacent part of the ilium, the aponeurosis of the middle gluteal muscle.

The lateral femoral fascia

Action: to tense the lateral femoral fascia, flex the hip and extend the stifle.
Fascia lata
Covers the hip region also make up the aponerosis of the tensor fascia latae.
Superficial gluteal m.
The lateral border of the sacrum and first caudal vertebra
the third trochanter

Action: To extend the hip and abduct the limb
Middle gluteal m.
The crest of the gluteal surface of the ilium.
The greater trochanter

Action: To extend and abduct the hip and to rotate the pelvic limb medially.
Deep gluteal m.
The body of the ilium, the ischiatic spine
The cranial aspect of the greater trochanter

To extend and abduct the hip and to rotate the pelvic limb medially.
Internal obturator m
The symphysis pelvis and the dorsal surface of the ischium and pubis.

disto-cranial border of the tibia and medial surface of the body of the tibia

Action: to extend the hip, flex the stifle and extend the hock.
Semimembranous m.
ischiatic tuberosity
The distal medial lip of the caudal rough surface of the femur and the medial condyle of the tibia

Action: to extend the hip, the part that attaches to the femur extends the stifle, attachment to the tibia flexes or extends the stifle.
Gracilis m.
the pelvic symphysis by means of the symphsial tendon
the cranial border of the tibia and the tuber calcanei.

Action: to adduct the limb, flex the stifle and extend the hip and hock.
Sartorius m.
Cranial head: crest of the ilim and thoracolumbar fascia to the patella

Caudal Head: cranial ventral iliac spine and the adjacent ventral border of the ilium. and the cranial border of the tibia.

Action: To flex the hip, the craniel part extends the stifle and the caudal part flexes the stifle.
Pectineus m.
iliopubic eminence and the pubic tubercle via the prepubic tendon.
The distal end of the medial lip of the caudal rough face of the femur.

Action: to adduct the limb
Adductor m.
The entire pelvic symphysis by means of the symphysial tendon, the adjacent part of the ischiatic arch and the ventral surface of the pubis and ischium.

The entire lateral lip of the caudal rough face of the femur.

Action: To adduct the limb and extend the hip.
