1.) Febrile UTI in infants aged 2-24 months[3]
2.) Delayed or unsatisfactory response to treatment of a first febrile UTI
3.) An abdominal mass or abnormal voiding (dribbling of urine)
4.) Recurrence of febrile UTI after a satisfactory response to treatment
When is VCUG recommended?
if renal US is positive, or second febrile UTI
What are common UTI pathogens?
E.coli is MC, followed by Klebsiella, Staph, Enterococcus, Proteus, Strep, Pseudamonas

surgery within 72hours
