A binucleate Reed-Sternberg cell with large, inclusion-like nucleoli and abundant cytoplasm is surrounded by lymphocytes, and an eosinophil.

Hodgkin lymphoma

well-defined bands of pink, acellular collagen that have subdivided the tumor cells into nodules

Nodular sclerosis

A binucleate Reed-Sternberg cell with large, inclusion-like nucleoli and abundant cytoplasm is surrounded by lymphocytes, and an eosinophil.

Hodgkin lymphoma.

Numerous RS (Reed _ Sternberg cell)

Hodgkin disease lymphocyte depletion Reticular type :

"lacunar space" with multilobed nucleus containing many small nucleoli is seen lying within a clear space created by retraction of its cytoplasm. It is surrounded by lymphocytes.

Nodular sclerosis :

Numerous mature-looking lymphocytes surround scattered, large, pale-staining lymphocytic and histiocytic variants ("popcorn cells")

Lymphocyte-predominance type

"lacunar space" with multilobed nucleus containing many small nucleoli is seen lying within a clear space created by retraction of its cytoplasm. It is surrounded by lymphocytes.

Nodular sclerosis :

Classic Reed-Sternberg cell is surrounded by multiple cell type including eosinophils(bright –red cytoplasm)lymphocyte, and histiocytes.

Mixed-cellularity type

Numerous mature-looking lymphocytes surround scattered, large, pale-staining lymphocytic and histiocytic variants ("popcorn cells")

Lymphocyte-predominance type

the neoplastic cells are "centrocyte like" cells that have angular "cleaved"nuclear counters and linear infoldings, admixed with variable numbers of larger "centroblast-like" cells that have vesicular chromatin, several nucleoli, and modest amount of cytoplasm.

Follicular lymphoma:

the neoplastic cells are "centrocyte like" cells that have angular "cleaved"nuclear counters and linear infoldings, admixed with variable numbers of larger "centroblast-like" cells that have vesicular chromatin, several nucleoli, and modest amount of cytoplasm.

Follicular lymphoma

sheets of small lymphocytes with dark-staining round nuclei, scanty cytoplasm, with scattered "prolymphocyte"

Small lymphocytic lymphoma

the tumor cells have large nuclei with round, irregular nuclear counters, open chromatin , several distinct nucleoli, and modest amount of pale cytoplasm resemble "centroblasts".

Diffuse large cell lymphoma

Tumor cells are monotonous with round nuclei and multiple prominent nucleoli. With high mitotic activity. . Prominent cell death with macrophages engulfing debris. Produce characteristic starry sky appearance.

Burkitt lymphoma:

Diagnostic RS cells: are large cells (15-45 microns ) in diameter or more with abundant weakly acidophilic or amphophilic cytoplasm. The nucleus is bilobed, vesicular with very large rounded, highly acidophilic central inclusion like nucleolus surrounded by a clear halo. The bilobed nucleus appear as owl eye appearance

Hodgkin's lymphoma

Tumor cells are monotonous with round nuclei and multiple prominent nucleoli. With high mitotic activity. . Prominent cell death with macrophages engulfing debris. Produce characteristic starry sky appearance.
