Atropine

Amiodarone

-Dose: 150 mg over 10 minutes for a patient with apulse. If patient has no pulse, give 300 mg IVP


-Indication: Ventricular Dysrhythmias


-Contraindication: Non-ventricular dysrhythmias, bradycardic dysrhythmias

Lidocaine

-Dose: 1mg/kg for a patient with a pulse, 1.5mg/kg forpatient without a pulse

-Contraindication: Non-ventricular dysrhythmias, bradycardic dysrhythmias

Nitroglycerin

-Dose: .4mg SL every 5 minutes or 1 spray SL every fiveminutes


-NOTE: Systolic BP MUST BE OVER 100mm/hg.


-Indication: Chest Pain suggestive of ischemia -NOTE: Do not give if pt is having a right-sided MI (ST ELEV. In lead II, III, and aVf)


-Contraindication: ED drug in last 48 hrs, hypotension (Syst.BP <100), trauma

Aspirin

-Dose: 324mg PO


-Indication: Suspected MI


-Contraindication: hypersensitivity, trauma

Morphine (Cardiac Related)

-Dose: 2mg IVP, repeat 4 times prn


-Indication: Chest Pain


-Contraindication:Hypotension, hypersensitivity

Zofran

-Dose: 4mg IVP or PO


-Indication: Nausea/Vomiting


-Contraindication: Hypersensitivity

Epinephrine 1:1000

-Dose: .3-.5mg SQ or IM


-Indication: Anaphylaxis (resp. distress)

Diphenhydramine (Benadryl)

-Dose: 25-30mg IVP

Sodium Bicarbonate
