What is RVSM?

Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum. (RVSM)

Define Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum.

Any airspace where airplanes are vertically separated by 1,000 ft (300 m) between Flight Level 290 and 410 inclusive.

What does RVSM airspace allow?

Aircraft to operate at more efficient altitudes, provide more routes to operators, and increase enroute airspace capacity.

When does the initial 28 DY Task Card interval start?

From the effective operational date of the loaded Navigation Data Base (NDB).

What do you do if the updated NDB is not available before the expiration of the 28 day inspection window?
