What is the purpose of the Duct Burner system. |
Provides additional heat to increase steam load. |
How many off gas runners on each HRSG? |
14 |
How many H2 runners on each HRSG ? What numbers are they? |
4 3, 7, 11, 16 |
What's plants provide offgas? |
Lhc2, lhc3, and glycol2 |
What is the preferred gas stream to be lined up to the Duct Burners? Why? |
lhc2, because of its high H2 content which would limit the amount of blending on the gts |
How many duct burners have pilots? |
All of them |
What fuel is used for pilot gas? |
Offgas |
Explain the H2 pressure test sequence. |
It's done by introducing N2 to the H2 system and testing the sso's for leaks. First it pressures between the main and vent sso's and checks for a pressure drop (not required to pass). It then pressures up the runners which must pass to start. If it fails use the manual bvs to isolate each runner 1 at a time. It could also be the vents |
How would you identify which sso is leaking? |
Block in runner sso's one at a time. If all runners pass it could be a vent. |
What's the normal og pressure us of the skid? What controls the pressure? |
45psi, it's controlled by a regulator in the pipe way east of the hrsg |
What is the normal H2 pressure us of the skid? |
8 psi and will vent at cl2 if the pressure reaches 10. |
What is the normal pilot gas pressure? |
10 psi |
What's the purpose of the Duct Burner cooling air fans? |
Pilot flame intensity, igniter cooling, flame scanner cooling, purge air to sight ports. |
