How can you make oxygen in a lab?

Use the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. H2O2 》H2O + 1/2 O2. Use a catalyst to speed up the reaction like manganese dioxide (MnO2). The oxygen displaced the water from the upside down cylinder, because oxygen is insoluble.
