1. Sv. someone w/ funding or adm. supv. over you
2. work as an employee of supervisee. BUT- can pay Sv. for supervision, not to exceed reasonable hourly rate
3. Sv. direct family member
4. Sv. someone you are in business w/ except when SUPERVISEE is an employee
5. Sv. work one is not personally competent to preform

CANNOT:
6. Sv. anyone you know is illegally providing psych. services
7. accept some1 w/ out appropriate academic & prof. prep.
8. Sv. more than 4 unlicensed persons who are under work or training Sv. - doesn't apply to MHW Sv.
9. allow supervisee to see some1 they are not competent to see
10. delegate to supervisee - a) dx.;b) prescription; c) client supervision - ONLY SUPERVISOR ALLOWED

11. CANNOT BE DELEGATED TO unlicensed person: a) dx.; b) perscription; or c) supervision of client
12. Must inform client of Sv.& legal + prof. responsibility of superv.
13. Superv. responsible to determine supervisee's competency
14. Sperv. to identify each superviess and Sv. provided i.e. work or training
15. If sharing Sv. w/ another superv. - write a plan for everyone to sign

16. Sv. notes to include: plan; dates of meeting; notes on Sv. & specific clients. Must keep record 5 yrs.
17. Intensity of Sv. based on Supervisees experience; credentials; complexity of cases. Superv. must have direct knowledge of all clients

19. can't exploite supervisee for finical gain or excessive work demands
20. Superv. can't let agency exploit supervisee
21. Superv. requires supervisee to seek outside prof. help w/ personal problems

23. Group discussion of cases is encouraged but can't replace indv.
24. Superv. must register all supervisees w/ Board who are completing retraining or are being trained to earn a different license
25. Can't assign work of a HAZARDOUS nature to supervisee who doesn't have adequate academic prep.

26. Superv. must plan for continuity of care in the event their Sv. to supervisee is interrupted by illness, vacation or other.
27. Licensed person w/ the Board who is seeking training in a subspeciality need not register w/ the Board.
28. Violation of any of the above rules by supervisee can result in investigation of superv.
regarding adequate Sv.
Supervisee Responsibilities:
1-4
1. Spvee. subject to all rules of the Board
2. Spvee. can't use title "Psychologist" or "School Psychologist"
3. Spvee. can't solicit clients or generate own caseload - one cannot imply they have independent choice of clients.
4. Spvee. can't collect fees in their name for psych. work
Supervisee Responsibilities:
5-10
5. Spvee. can't independently advertise
6. Can have business card with appropriate title, name, and Superv. name, and Sv. relationship on it
7. Spvee. will use correct title
8. Spvee. can publish or post degree's, credentials, & appropriate title - as long as clients are not confused
9. Spvee. only allowed activities delegated by superv.
10. Spvee. will carry out psych. activities in office of the superv. or another suitable location where superv. has responsibility.
Supervisee Responsibilities:
11-12
11. Spvee. may pay a fee to superv. in private practice
12. Both have responsibility to let inform clients of supervised nature of the work & ultimately resp. is with the superv. Must provide statement that includes: description of services; name of Superv.; charges + who bill will come from; name/address/# of office; limits of confidentiality; parameters of prof. rel.; availability of superv. to met w/ client; signature of everyone.
