What is Metabolism? What are it's subdivisions?
Chemical transformations that occur in the body and is subdivided into anabolism and catabolism.
What are anabolic reactions?
Reactions that build large molecules out of smaller ones and generally require the input of energy (ATP)

Reactions that break down larger molecules into their subunits.

BMI = Body Mass Index, is a ratio of height to weight. Weight in kg (lbs / 2.2) / height in meters squared(inches / 39.4). The nomogram is used for BMI

Healthy = 19 - 25
Overweight = 25 - 29.9
Obese = 30+
How do you calculate waist to hip ratio? What are the unhealthy values for men and women?
Waist (in cm) / Hips (in cm)

Above 1 for men and above .8 in women is considered unhealthy
