Upper motor neuron defect
DTR's are decreased in which type of motor neuron defect?
lower motor neuron defects
What are fasciculations?
"muscle twitch", is a small, local, involuntary muscle contraction and relaxation visible under the skin arising from the spontaneous discharge of a bundle of skeletal muscle fibers (muscle fascicle). Fasciculations have a variety of causes, the majority of which are benign, but can also be due to disease of the motor neurons.
Fasciculations are present in which type of motor neuron defect?
lower motor neuron defects
DTR's are decreased in which type of motor neuron defect?
lower motor neuron defects
Babinski reflex is absent in which type of motor neuron defect?
lower motor neuron defects
Muscle tone is increased in which type of motor neuron defect?
upper motor neuron defects
Fasciculations are not present in which type of motor neuron defect?
upper motor neuron defects
Muscle tone is decreased in which type of motor neuron defect?
lower motor neuron defects
