Integers
Positive and Negative whole numbers.
Adding fractions
Only same denominators may be added together. If quantities are not the same then multiply each fraction by the opposite denominator.
Subtracting fractions
Same as addition, must find common denominator
Multiplying fractions
Multiply the numerators and denominators by each other. ex. 1/2 X 4/3 = 4/6
Dividing Fractions
Flip the second fraction then do same as multiplication.
1/2 / 3/4= 1/2x4/3= 4/6= 2/3
Absolute Values
Non Negative value of x regardless of it's sign.
-3=3 3=3

Can be thought of as distance from 0
Percentages
Number or ratio expressed as a fraction of 100.

45% = 45/100 = .45
Exponent
Exponent of a number says how many time to use the number in a multiplication.

8^2 = 8*8 = 64
Negative Exponent
Shows how many times to divide 1 by the number.

5^-3 = 1/5/5/5 = .008
