What is the Uniform Site Improvement Standards Act of 1993?
Legislation that standardizes regulations for streets, off-street parking, water supply, sewers, and stormwater management for residential developments statewide
What are site improvements?
Any construction work on, or improvement in connection with, residential devleopment limited to streets, roads, parking facilities, sidewalks, drainage structures, and utilities
What is a site plan ordinance?
The municipal ordinance that sets forth the standards for site plans and the application review process. This many be combined with a subdivision ordinance.
What is site plan review?
Review, by the planning board or other appropriate board, of the site plan, as defined. This is distinct from review of a subdivision application.
What is a site preparation?
Physical activity that is an integral part of a continuous process of land development or redevelopment for a particular development, or which must occur before actual construction of that development may commence.
