Who was a Governor?
The governor represented the King. He controled the military and was incharge of defence. He also delt with first nations tradings and relationships.
Who was the Intendent?
The Intendent was the chief administrator of the colony. He kept the colony in order and tried to make New France less dependent on France.
Who was the Bishop of Quebec?
The Bishop was an inportant person. The church played a big role, converting First Nations to Catholic, built schools, hospitals, and orphanages. Members of the church had a huge impact to the settlers in New France.
