Acetylcholine function

Transmits nerve impulses to muscles; used by the parasympathetic nervous systems; loss of this neurotransmitter in hippocampus is associated with Alzheimers

Epinephrine function

aka adrenaline; involved in controlling alertness and wakefulness; primary neurotransmitter of the sympathetic nervous system; a catecholamine; commonly acts as a hormone and is secreted from the adrenal medulla

Norepinephrine Function
