Rooting
Spinal Cord Level:Stroking the side of the face outward from the corner of the mouth. Infant turns to stimulus
Suck
Spinal Level: stroke center of lips. Infan sucks stimulus

Spinal cord: The infant has one leg flexed, another leg extended. Apply light pressure to the ball of the foot. The flexed leg will extend.

Spinal Cord: Baby's in prone. Spinal cord: Stroke the back lateral to the spine from scapula to lumbar level. child will flex latterally in the trunk

Spinal Cord: Hold upright. Softly brush dorsum of hand on table edge. Infant will lift hand and place on table

Spinal Cord: Hold upright. Softly brush dorsum of foot on the table edge. infant will lift foot and place on the table.
Spontanious stepping
Spinal Cord: Hold upright. Support in weight -bearing on soles of feet. Lean infant foward slightly. infant will step foward with one foot, then the other.
Palmar grasp
Spinal Cord: Supine. Place finger or toy in child's hand from ulnar to radial side. Infant will grasp stimulus with finger tightly flexed
Neonatal positive supporting
Brain stem level: Hold upright. Softly bounce infant on feet. this elicits extension of lower legs with plantar flexion of feet.
ANTR left/right
Brain stem level: Supine- Head is at midline. Gently turn the head to one side. elicits extension of limbs on face side, flexion of limbs on skull side
Tonic Labyrinthine prone
Brain stem level: Supine in prone. Elicits total limb flexion on predominant flexor tone
Tonic labyrinthine supine:
Brain stem level: Suspend in supine. Elicits total limb extension or predominant extension tone
Symmetrical tonic neck up
Brain stem level: extension of the head causes extension of the arms,flexion of the legs.
