We are first going to start off with some details about his past then his career then his personal life. We will take turns in explaining the very interesting yet complicated life of Nelson Mandela. Please listen carefully and I hope you enjoy, and one more thing, keep your questions and comments till the end, please
When Nelson was nine his dad passed away, because of lung disease, this caused a huge change in Nelson’s life; he was adopted by Chief Jongintaba Dalindyebo, a favor to his dead father who years earlier had recommended him as chief. He hesitatingly left his carefree life; even though he left he promised to come back. Although he missed the life he had, he quickly got used to the more royal and grand surroundings in the chief’s royal residence.
when he went back home, at the end of the year, the chief announced an arranged a marriage for his adopted son, he wanted to make sure his life was perfectly planned, and the arrangement was rightfully his choice. Nelson was extremely shocked by this news and seeing he had no choice or way out of it he ran away. He stopped running in Johannesburg where he worked many different jobs, while completing his bachelor degree and his correspondence courses. After he was done with all that he went to the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg to study law.
: nelson was later arrested, because he was charged for leaving the country without permission, his companions were later captured with evidence that incriminated Nelson, and they were all almost executed. Mandela made many great speeches, and he fought against all his people and was later elected as the first president of South Africa.
