The Superior Court ha EXCLUSIVE subject matter jurisdiction.
Where is venue proper?
In the county where the decent was domiciled at death. Except for property located outside of NC.
What is a nuncupative will? When is it valid?
A will given orally.

Valid when it is given by deceased:

in the presence of 2 non-interested witnesses;

when the decedent is ill and death is imminent - and decedent dies from that illness;

it is either probated within 6 months, OR recorded by one of the witnesses within 10 days; and

obviously given with testamentary intent
