What are the different transfer types?

1. Stand-Pivot Transfer
2. Seated Transfer / Pop-over Transfer (used for those with decreased endurance or WB precautions) 3. Sliding Board Transfer (if cannot stand: SCI, amputations) 4. Dependent Transfer 5. Mechanical Lift Transfer 6. Use of adaptive or mobility devices: - Bed transfer aids: trapeze, bed rail - Bath transfer aids: grab bars, commode, ambulatory devices, wheelchairs 7. Chair Lifts (person cannot transfer independently) |
