On 25 April 2015 a 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal as the Indo-Australian plate jolted at the boundary with the Eurasian plate. It killed 9,000 people and 20,000 were injured in total ~ 8,000,000 people were effected |

Landslides and avalanches in the Himalayas, Mt. Everest avalanche killed at least 19 people, others left 250 missing, landslide blocked the Kali and people evacuated in case of flooding and there was no tsunami as the earthquake was on land |
