What did God send to David?
God sent Nathan to David to tell him a parable.
In the parable there was a rich man and a poor man. What did each of them own?
The Rich man owned a lot of sheep but the poor man only had one little ewe lamb.
How did the poor man treat his little ewe lamb?
He treated it as if it was an only daughter to him and part of a loved family life.
What did the rich man do when he had to entertain?
When the rich man had to entertain a traveller he didn't want to use one of his own many lambs instead he stole the only lamb that the the poor man had.
What did David do at hearing this parable and what was Nathans reply?
At hearing this David was very angry and said to Nathan the rich man should die, but Nathan said to David that rich man is you....
What did Nathan then tell David?
He told David that as king he should have killed Uriah, and God would punish him by taking away his wives by one of his friends.
