Graveyard Book Plot
|
After the murder of a toddler's family, he journeys to a graveyard, escaping from the murderer, and is taken in by the ghosts and supernatural creature of the graveyard, who bring him up as one of their own. Each chapter represents a different stage in his life until he is ready to leave the graveyard.

The graveyard is the home of a boy called Nobody Owens, in a modern town. We know this because there is recent technology used by characters in the book. The graveyard has a dark undertone, as in the good of the graveyard, there is also a balance of evil.
