What is polycythaemia rubra vera?

What is Myelofibrosis?
|
Malignant proliferation of bone marrow, due to release of growth factor from megakaryocytes (produce platelets) leading to fibrosis. As a result there is extramedullary haematopoeisis (e.g. in the spleen)
