Limited Governments

Those who make laws must follow them.
Usually have a statement of laws, constitution or other laws to set limits.
Limits are sets so gov. officials dont take advantage of the people.
Unlimited Governments

Power belongs to the ruler or rulers.
No rules or laws limit what they can do.
leaders do not have any restrictions.

People govern themselves. People also elect representatives.

Laws limit the power of the king and queen.
King/Queen is the head of state but elected officials run the government.

Government that is controlled by one all powerful leader.

Government in which the king or queen has ALL/COMPLETE control.
