Adding a Twist (Garnish)

Cut a sliver of skin from a fresh fruit (ex. lemon, lime, orange). Twist it over the drink to release the oil and drop it into the drink.

Coating a Glass Rim
|
Salt - use lime juice
Sugar - us lemon juice |

Muddling
|
Put the needed ingredients into a glass and muddle (push down and twist with muddler repeatedly).

Frosting/Chilling Glasses
|
Frosting - Dip glass in water and put in the freezer for about an hour.
Chilling - Either put glass in the fridge or put ice in the glass and fill with water. Let it sit and then dump it out. |

Floating/Layering
|
Floating - Adding a layer of liquor or liqueur on top of a drink
Layering - Adding multiple liquors or liqueurs on top of one another without mixing. You usually use a spoon to do this. |

In most (sweet) drinks where you use Grenadine or Sweet and Sour mix or green drinks.
