 Class “A”. Provides basic knowledge and skills. An NEC will not normally be awarded.
 Class “C”. Provides advanced specialized skill/knowledge/aptitude/qualification training required to fill a particular billet. Course completion awards an NEC or officer BST.
 Class “F”. Provides individual FUNCTIONAL skill or rating-specific training as required by Fleet or Type Commander. No NEC is awarded.

Receive satisfactory evaluation on a minimum of two separate presentation as an instructor trainee.
3.A4 Discuss “attrition” and contrast is meaning in both operations and training.
NOTE: The term “attrition” was formerly used in the schoolhouse to indicate any drop from training. NAVEDTRA 135B redefines the term to indicate a loss to the Navy (discharge). This is in line with how the term “attrition” is used for the Navy in general. The term used to indicate a student dropped from training is now, quite simply, “drop from training”. Below are the categories of “drops”.

 Student is unable to achieve the objectives after counseling, remediation, retesting, and an initial academic setback.

When a test failure occurs every effort will be made to retest. The minimum passing grade will be given for all passed retests. If a student fails a retest after remediation, an ARB will be convened.

3.A11 Discuss the importance of Formal Course Reviews (FCRs) and audit trails.
FCRs will be conducted on an annual, biennial, or triennial cycle as determined by the CCA, not to exceed three years.
