bankruptcy
The condition of being financially insolvent: bust, failure, insolvency. See money.
banquet
A ceremonial dinner honoring a particular guest or occasion.
barbarous
Showing or suggesting a disposition to be violently destructive without scruple or restraint: bestial, cruel, fell, feral, ferocious, fierce, inhuman, savage, truculent, vicious, wolfish. See kind/cruel.
barbecue
A grill, pit, or outdoor fireplace for roasting meat.
barley
The grain of H. vulgare or its varieties, used for livestock feed, malt production, and cereal.
basement
an architectural contraction that is completely or almost below ground in a building. It may be located below the ground floor.
beauty
A person regarded as physically attractive: belle (used of a woman), lovely, stunner. Slang babe, doll, hunk (used of a man), knockout, looker, stud (used of a man). See beautiful/ugly.
