What is a transverse wave?

What are radio waves?
|
Waves used for communication between fire, ambulance, and ambulance workers. Also used in walkie talkies.

|
Shorter wavelength than radio waves that carry signals from a station to your television.

What are microwaves?
|
used to cook food and to send signals to satellites and back.

|
They are felt as heat. They are partially filtered out by clouds. They are used in heat lamps and night vision goggles.

These are the waves plants use to grow. They cause cataracts and sunburns.
