The Train from Rhodesia

Summary: a young couple on a train stop into a very poor african village, where poor people try to sell the tourists things. they encounter an old man who tries to sell them a lion for one and six...a cheap price...but the man haggles w/ him for fun. the old man refuses to give in, so they get back on the train. but when the train starts to leave, the old man chases after them and yells "ONE AND SIX" at the man, who then throws him the money, and the old man throws him the lion. later the woman is mad at the man for taking the lion so unfairly, when the man was so old and had practically nothing. |
