These rivers flooded each year. The floods brought water and silt to mesopotamia, wich helped to make the land firtile. (FIRTILE CRESENT!!) But it also killed people or animals. To stop this, the Mesopotamians made pipes and canals to control the flooding. |

(The land that gets flooded.) It covers present day: Iraq, Syria, Lelbonnon. and Isrel. Much of Mesopotamia is rocky land, that was hard to grown on. The firtile cresent was the only good land.

"Old babylon"was destroyed, but new rulers used the same gods and Laws.Babylonians were able to rebuild Babylon making it stronger than before. Now... 1.) Created moveable brige and Underwater tunnels in the Ephades. 5.) Set up grid style streets, sewer and Water systems, 3 and 4 story homes and Hanging gardens.
