Mesopotamia
"The land between two rivers." This is the region between the Euphrates and Tigris Rivers. (Mesopoamia has Babylon and Sumer in it)

MADE LIFE IN THE AREA POSSIBLE!!!!
These rivers flooded each year. The floods brought water and silt to mesopotamia, wich helped to make the land firtile. (FIRTILE CRESENT!!) But it also killed people or animals. To stop this, the Mesopotamians made pipes and canals to control the flooding.
Firtile Cresent
(The land that gets flooded.) It covers present day: Iraq, Syria, Lelbonnon. and Isrel. Much of Mesopotamia is rocky land, that was hard to grown on. The firtile cresent was the only good land.

Hammurabi created the Code Of Hummarabi. ("an eye for an eye...")

They were a written set of laws that apply to everyone under the government.

After Hammurabi died, the southern city states rebelled.
"Old babylon"was destroyed, but new rulers used the same gods and Laws.Babylonians were able to rebuild Babylon making it stronger than before.

5.) Created moveable brige and Underwater tunnels in the Ephades.
