Luke 1:46-55
And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord; And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.
He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. He hath helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;
As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.
Luke 2:8-11
There were in that ocuntry shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord
Matthew 4:4, 7, 10
It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Get thee hence, Satan; for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.
Matthew 9:12-13
They that are healthy do not need a physician, but they that are sick. Go and learn what this means: I will have mercy, and not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Matthew 6:9-13
Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed by Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on Earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thinke is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
Matthew 7:7
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you.
Matthew 7:20
by their fruits ye shall know them.
Matthew 7:13-14
Enter in at the narrow gate: For wide is the gate and borad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there. For narro is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth to life, and few there be that frind it.
Luke 4:18-19
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the borken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
Mark 8:34-37
Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Mark 9:35
If any man desires to be first, he must be last of all, and servant of all.
