Method- psychology lecturers were caught on CCTV at the entrance if a building and Op were asked to identify the faces seen from HQ pics of the tape.


Results- students of the lecturers made more correct identification than other students and police officers


Conc- previous familiarity helps with identification


Evaluation- Demonstrates the limited value of CCTV


PA- memory for faces can be unreliable in certain situations,realise that identity parades have limited use.
