Colonoscopy
The direct visual examination of the inner surface of the entire colon from the rectum to the cecum
Cystoscopy
The visual examination of the urinary bladder using a cystoscope.
Cystectomy
The surgical removal of all or part of the urinary bladder.

The presence of stones in the kidney
Nephrectomy
The surgical procedure of removing a kidney or part of a kidney

To crush a stone. (Litho means stone, tripsy means to crush)
Hydrocephalus
A condition in which excess cerebrospinal fluid accumulates in the ventricles of the brain.
Otosclerosis
The ankylosis of the bones in the middle ear, resulting in a conductive hearing loss. (ot/o means ear, and sclerosis means abnormal hardening). Ankylosis means fused together.
