Ratio
A comparison of two quantities by divison.
Slope
a ratio that describes steepness.
Absolute Value

Exponent
it tells how many times a number, or base, is used as a factor.
x-axis
the horizontal number line that, together with the y-axis, forms the coordinate plane.
y-axis
the vertical line that, together with the x-axis,forms the coordinate plane.
Equations
a mathematical sentence with an equal sign.
Irrational Number
is a number that cannot be written as the ratio of two integers. In decimal form, an irrational number cannot be written as a terminating or repeating decimal.
Polynomial
is one term or the sum or difference of two or more terms.

Rational Numbers
any number writen as a quotient of two integers where the denominator is not 0.
Mode
the item in a data set that occurs with the greatest frequency.
Rate
a ratio that is a comparison of two quantities by divison.
