Simultaneously perform steps 3 and 4 -
*3. GTS start button - PRESS AND HOLD
(MFDs, DEU, SADS and VCR/CEU drop off line)
*4. Throttle - IDLE (monitor FF/EGT/RPM)
AIRSTART PROCEDURES - Windmill Airstart
Below 25,000 feet MSL, minimum 13% N2 RPM (recommend a minimum of 250 KIAS) -
*1. Throttle - OFF
Simultaneously perform steps 2 and 3 -
*2. GTS start button - PRESS AND HOLD
(MFDs, DEU, SADS and VCR/CEU drop off line)
*3. Throttle - IDLE (monitor FF/EGT/RPM)
AIRSTART PROCEDURES - Assisted Airstart
Below 15,000 feet MSL, 165 to 250 KIAS -
*1. Throttle - OFF
*2. GTS start button - START (MFDs, DEU,
SADS and VCR/CEU drop off line)
When RPM drops below 20% N2 and GTS
advisory light ON -
*3. ENGINE switch - START
*4. Throttle - IDLE (monitor FF/EGT/RPM
ELECTRICAL FIRE
*1. GEN switch - OFF
SMOKE OR FUMES IN COCKPIT
*1. Altitude - DESCEND BELOW 25,000 FEET (if practical)
*2. AIR FLOW knob - OFF
If unable to clear smoke or unable to see -
*3. Airspeed - REDUCE
*4. Warn other cockpit occupant/secure loose items
*5. Seat - LOWER
*6. Visor - DOWN
*7. MDC firing handle - PULL
