It is believed that the Messiah will return when the Dome of the Rock is removed from Temple Mount, but this cannot be done without starting a HUGE war between the Jews and Muslims.

in 1979- Jimmy Carter organized an agreement of peace between Egypt and Israel. Menechem Begin agreed to give Anwar Sadat the Sinai Peninsula in exchange for peace. LAND FOR PEACE- the accords worked and Egypt and Israel are still at peace today.

Oslo Agreement
|
in 1993- Clinton tried to organize an agreement between Yitzak Rabin and Yasir Arafat. LAND FOR PEACE II. The plan envisioned an eventual Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. This plan would have worked, but Rabin was assassinate, Arafat did not keep up his side of the deal, and the Hamas suicide bombings led to the election of a Likud.

|
in 2000- Clinton tried to organize another agreement between Ehud Barak and Yasir Arafat. The plan seemed like it was going to work, but then Barak pulled out a map showing a Palestinian state as unconnected pieces of land surrounded by Israeli settlements. Because of this, Arafat walked away from the deal.
